is it available anywhere to download?
im not talking about the one for steam either as i bought my game elsewhere.

Activate SR2 on Steam and you'll be able to download the patch.

It's the only legit place to get it.

i cant do that as i bought the game from GFWL marketplace. the cd key isnt valid on steam.

nah, its all online.
bit of fiddling and a resolution changer has sorted it though.
