Saints Row 2

I have just been looking at http://www.saintsrow.com/

I noticed something in a paragraph about the game. Unfortunately I can't copy and paste.

It says:

Saints Row 2 will be playable online is 2-player co-op through the entire single player campaign.

This sounds pretty damn cool, and it got me thinking about GTA IV and what they might do online. 2 Player co-op has been done is Crackdown, it is being done is SR2. Is anyone else hopeful we might see it in GTA IV as well?

Doubt we'll see it in GTA, but that would be absolutley awesome.

Never really played Saints Row, so I can't say that this excites me, though it does seem like a worthy addition.

They haven't said anything about it in GTA IV have they? If not then doubt it'll be put in now, which is a shame as in my opinion co-op games are generally much more fun and have more replay value. Maybe it'll be in GTA V

So many games would be better co-op.

I really wish GTA will do a online co-op, it would make it so much better imo if it did and i hope they bring this out or something similar.

As you say, they wouldn't add it now, but what is to say that they haven't been working on it from the beginning?

Nothing about GTA online has been mentioned, other than the fact there will be multiplayer, so it could be anything.

I loved SR1, so definitely excited about SR2

In that case I guess there's a chance.. but I would have thought they'd have announced it's inclusion by now if they had a significant co-op mode implemented. Would certainly get people even more excited about it (if that's possible :rolleyes:

) ... fingers crossed anyway.

I don't know much about Saint's Row 2 other than that it's similar to GTA, if it's going to have a full co-op campaign though I am very interested.
