Another game that I cannot pre pre-purchase on steam due to my region

is this anything to do with THQ?

I noticed this. I'm going to wait a bit before I assume the worst though, as it's only just gone up, could need sorting out.

Same thing happened with SpaceMarine and that's also done by THQ

I think it was the same with Red Faction Armageddon as well.

It's something like Retail gets 1 month exclusivity or something silly like that.

Because GAME threatened to stop stocking their games if they didn't' get an exclusivity period.

I hope this time they fix the speed up issue as i couldn't play even tho i tried the workarounds i just still couldn't play due to it being sped up and made driving a nightmare.

Can't see GAME surviving much longer, such a shockingly **** selection of games, 90% of the shop is pre owned games

They know the end is nigh. Everything is moving digital and publishers can easily move to prevent/limit second hands sales. Once consoles move to primarily use digital distribution its game over. They're just trying to keep things in their favour while they still have some weight to throw around.

As for the game... it looked like someone had basically tried to merge GTA and Just Cause 2.

I was thinking about JC2 as well while looking at this.

With co-op/multiplayer as well this could be a very fun game.

Saints Row 2 was great as it did not take itself seriously at all which is what the newer GTA games do and they have become much worse for it.

Think back to the original GTA..... soooooooo much of the humour is now missing from the GTA titles.

Everyone has this view of Saints Row. Saints row is the game GTA should have been but rockstar decided to make it more "realistic" rather than let us just **** about which is what Saints Row does so so well. Its about sandbox fun rather than sandbox grind.

Also Game will die soon after the next console generation and the world will be a better place for it.

Far more entertaining than either though.

SR2 is hilarious co-op, shame it was let down by very dodgy net-code online.

agree with whats been said, SR1 and 2 werer both so much better than gta 4, although the ballad of gay tony was good it still didnt compare, i had so much fun on saints row, and i loved how much options you had to make your character.
