I am having a hard time doing the mini missions, like Mayhem, Insurance Fraud etc. It is just they get rather hard after a few levels. For example:

I am on level 4 mayhem. I have to do 200k damage but, even shooting loads of people in a row to get a 15x multiplier, and then destroying several cars, I struggle to get close to the required amount. I kill all the cops, rival gang members and bonus car types I see, but no luck.

I'm even worse at insurance fraud. Just struggle to get good money. Any tips for that one either?

The problem is since you have to do these side missions, I am struggling to advance. I have got some cool threads for my guy but 15% extra is a little week.

For insurance fraud try stealing a police car and repetedly crash into other cars in the area, you get a multiplier. Buy some pimp shades and loads of expensive purple clothes as this will up your multiplier for respect. Mayhem make sure you use the guns recommened and shoot what it tells you to asyou will get a bigger multiplier.
 
Not that i played this much, but calling for the ambulence or getting a police car gets your totlal going high. a360 has loads of tips of stuff like this.
 
Any government vehicle (police car, ambulance etc) will get you a multiplier bonus. If your having problems getting enough respect do a few things like hostage taking in a car, clear the higher levels of the easier side missions like snatch etc..oh an I think you can also lose respect if you just cruise around Stillwater..

I stole a cop car, got up to full speed, hit another car head on, and got 600K (and an achievement) in one go! Awesome stuff.

Aye that's basically how I did the insurance missions. Cop car + high speed + wall or other vehicle = big money!
 
Well, just completed level 8 insurance fraud without much difficulty. I noticed the last one gave me 10K in money which means my guy has even more bling!
 
been doing the mayhem missions myself over the past few nights and boy are they hard :mad:

anyway, when you start a mayhem mission, it seems to be random what area you are sent to, so make sure it sends you to the airport area. if not then press down on the D pad twice to cancel

once you are sent to the airport area, stay in your vehicle and drive down to the wire fences that surround the airport. then just drive around continuously knocking fences over (they respawn too)

you can get the required amount of money in no time due to huge multipliers

when you have finished that particular level of a mayhem mission, instead of pressing A to continue, quit out of it, return to the start point and start again, making sure it sends you back to the airport

rinse and repeat

cheap but very effective :D
 
Ive started doing all the activites and at the minute i have about 3 sat on lvl 8 just having issues doing them. Just done another drug trafficking one, now have the one with the house wife to do.

Only have a few of the west side rollerz missions left to as ive done all the others.
 
How i did at mayhems and insurance fraud depended on the area i was sent and the bonuses (mayhem). But after i played the game for a while, they seemed a lot easier to me. Snatch missions are hard as nails i think, taken me the most time to finish.
 
I found lvl 8 of the drug ones quite tricky! its the whole cities police force after you gets a bit insane when your on the last drop!

Just done the demolition ones took 5mins or so and another achievement added :D
 
I did all the insurance fraud missions earlier using the cop car, which made it very easy. Have almost finished the story missions now, after that I'll try and finish off the rest of the activities.

Think I will leave the hitman missions til last, found these to be annoying. Why do the targets never seem to appear where they are supposed to?
 
Hardest ones I thought were the pimp ones. Sooo many times the 'ladys' would just run around the car or get taken out, run over, run away, etc, etc.

Fave ones were the escort missions, especially listening to what the clients would say! :p
 
I havent tried to do the hitman ones properly yet as i went looking once and gave up couldnt find anyone! I did kill bill other day who was an FBI agent by complete fluke! I had loads of police after me and he jumped out of his 4x4 and it said i killed him :D
 
Easy money, grab a titan and take it to your garage. Now max out on grenades then take the titan out and blow it up, repeat until out of grenades. Easy way to make lots of money, only two grenades needed if you manage to keep the door open when getting out. And remember to run. :D
 
This is turning into a great thread! Loads of great tips. There does seem to be a sneaky way of doing most of the activities that makes them much easier. Good work guys, keep it up!
 
Easy way to do the escort missions near airpot....

Opposite the escort place where you can buy jewelary go around that big building doing laps you can stay ahead of them all the time.

Also you can pull in places shoot the media guys and just sit there :D
