Saints Row

Looks absolutely cack. I preferred it when the game was about gang warfare melded with some madness.

These characters look so clean cut that they might as well be from that fornite game. Need some gameplay trailers really.
 
I thought it was going to be some new Ubisoft title until they revealed what it was. Couldn't be less interested in this, which is sad considering I loved the original.
 
I just saw it on Epic Game Launcher, rolled my eyes thinking its a remaster of the first game but no looks like a new game in the series.
Loved SR2 and 3 I hope this game is even better.

Although I get the Fortnite reference.

BTW Saints Row 3 (Remastered) is currently free on Epic at the moment.

Loved SR 1 and 2 so much fun violence mixed with humour :)

Though have to say I did love the trailer, will have to see what actually game play is like before making any firm choice
 
much rather SR than GTA, its been way too long comming though and i have lost interest in these types of games quite a bit now
 
The last one I finished was amazing. It was the one with some sort of convertible jet, and part of the map was hit by some virus bomb and had turned folks into zombies or something. I tried the follow up where you are the president I believe, but that was so 'out there' that stopped playing after 10minutes or so.
 
This really didn't sit well for me. The characters looks like early 20s hipsters who quip at each other which is my biggest hate with games at the moment (ranging from ME:A to WD2) and try to be cool through words rather than through attitude and actions or animation. And this is coming from a SR2 fan when the series was still slightly crap, but also when it was a sane world juxtaposed against zany missions and characters rather than full on crazy.

For context the SR3 announcement trailer was 30 seconds of suspenseful music, logos and disclaimers and then a 1 second clip of a guy getting punched in the balls. That's SR to me!
 
Picked up SR3 Remastered free from epic to play with a mate, loved it back in the day.
Problem is that it looks like online co-op isn't working at all.
 
The original is still the best - and it's only playable on Xbox so I bet there are lots of people who think Saints Row consists of the third game onwards. That's when it got stupid. So if this is more like the first one, then I'm all up for it. When it comes to Steam, of course.

I'm sure the were on ps3 (or 2).

I googled, must have plated it on the 360 then. I had both so I can't always remember what I played it on. Surprised the 1st one was an exclusive.

i played 3 and 4 and both were off this planet, hitting people with giant purple adult things lol. Gimps running around.

i found the actual gameplay smoother and superior to control than the clunky awkward GTA games
