Saitek Cyborg RAT 9 - crazy?

So i am in the market for a new gaming mouse and went to look at Razer products on OCuK when i stumbled across this;

looks insane, ive never used any Saitek products and the video on youtube looked quite impressive.

Does anyone have any comments abou the saitek mouse range? should i stick with razer or give this one a go? I know its not due out till 24/09 but I can hang on till then if its as good as it looks

the 7 is out 31st of august and costs a lot less if you're ok with it not being wireless

otherwise it's exactly the same as the 9 hence why I ordered it

Something even more expensive than the Mamba, wow. Certainly looks very futuristic but its aesthetics may not appeal to all.
Do like the ability to adjust the ergonomics though which is a nice feature.

At first I thought the precision mode was an extra control, like those things you sometimes got on old laptops instead of a touch pad, rather than just a sensitivity reducer.

Just had a closer look at the rat 3 and that seems like something that I'd be willing to pay for without the hurt which may occur if you broke it. The wireless one is just too pricey.

Makes me want but with so many adjustments to tinker with I'm worried that I'll never get it quite right and will be fiddling with it endlessly !

I would buy one if it didn't use a laser, they have never worked very good.
