he means, plug the usb plug on the keyboard into the usb -> ps2 adapter, then into the ps2 plug, and will it work? if i could fine my usb to ps2 id do it for you ill have a look now....

sorry found the adapter but my dads comp doesnt have ps2 only usb

and mines in bits while i wait for new stuff to arrive

I don't think it will. I don't think the PS2 port will give enough power to run the backlight and what not.

Just tried mine through an adapter on my kvm, no it doesn't work.

& just to confirm that PS/2 can't supply enough power for it but it will work through a KVM (obviously not a PS/2 one though

).
