Saitek eclispse and my kvm switch

I had to buy a USB > PS2 convetor so i can use my keyboard on the switch as it only works via PS2. I plug the keyboard part of the kvm into back of PC and then my saitek into my KVM keyboard lights up but nothing works It worked fine with my old PS2 keyboard, any ideas whats up with it?

USB -> PS2 adapters seem not to like KVM's in general I'm afraid...

Tried it with a MS Intellimouse thing - Mouse pointer completely uncontrollable - Opening programs whilst skittering randomly about the screen.

So you'll need a proper PS2 keyboard & mouse.

Well thats annoying cause i spent £25 or so on the switch and just had to pay £3.99 for the damn apapter. Looks like ill have to sell this switch and get a USB one...
