So I was looking at this keyboard, is it worth buying? what are the benefits over the original Saitek?

Also I was going to buy the Logitech G15 but I have a desk with a pull out drawer so the G15 is a little big.

sitting here typing in pitch blackness...apart from the illumination from my screen :p it definitely works well in the dark

1.multiple colours (R,B,P) and off
2.nice weighty base, doesn't move across my desk, unless i want it to :p
3.very soft keystrokes, doesn't sound like a type writer, unlike my old keyboard
4.doesn't seem to have as many 'dead' areas with the lighting, unlike the saitek I in fact, the only place that really suffers is the insert, home pg up etc.
5.it just looks nice :D

cant compare to the saitek I tbh, as i have never owned one, but the saitek II is very nice.

edit: yes logitec is nice aswell, as a testament, i do own a mx510, but the saitek in my opinion is very nice to type with, I'm not having a problem, a keyboards a keyboard after all ;)

There are 3. The gamers keyboard, Eclipse and Eclipse 2.

All the features above are also found on the eclipse, which i own.

I would take anything logitech over the eclipse as i have a cheap logitech keyboard on another pc and its far nicer to type on than the eclipse, i find the eclipse horrible to type on. It looks nice but its a rubbish keyboard imo, and thats coming from someone who just typed this reply on it.

I've got the Eclipse too. Wouldn't buy it again though as I only really got it for the illumination (which is pretty poor) and now I don't even sit in the dark at the pc as it hurts my eyes too much lol .

Can't really comment much on the eclipse 2 but as previously said, I much prefer logitech keyboards.
