My old mum god bless her, can't tell the difference between salad cream and mayonnaise. When I'm out helping her with her shopping and she says she wants salad cream, she goes and picks up a jar of hellmans mayo. I'll say "err, mum, that's not salad cream" and she'll say "it's all the same".
