Salesforce Administrator Essentials

My company is moving the AP/MDA/HR teams from Spiceworks (which i am very familiar with now) to Salesforce (which i have had no hands on experience yet).

I am going on the admin course next week so need to find some good reference material to get a basic understanding of it to prepare myself.

Has anyone been on the Salesforce Administrator Essentials course? Any recommendations training materials or other tips?

Can't really answer your question but i've just signed our charity up to Salesforce's Power of Us Programme for 10 free licenses.

Need to get my head around Salesforce though first and how we can use it as an organisation. It's meant to be great for maintaining donor relationships, tracking fundraising efforts, managing volunteers as well as the other business relationship stuff.
