Been browsing around and reading up on the various different cards, but noticed that there are different MFR codes but seem to be the same card.

Take the 2080 TI Strix for example

1. STRIXRTX2080TIA11GGAMING

2. STRIXRTX2080TIO11GGAMING

3. ROG-STRIX-RTX2080TI-O11G-GAMING

From what i can see, they are all Strix 2080 Ti's, but why are the MFR codes different ? Are there slight differences ?

Might be warranty length and type. I've been looking at getting waterblocks for 2nd hand EVGA 1070s and they have a raft of slightly different codes for the same card which denote warranty terms.

In your list, 2 and 3 might well be the same as the numbers are identical but formatted differently. 1 and 2 are different though - A vs O.

The A version has a lower boost clock

OC Mode - GPU Boost Clock : 1665 MHz , GPU Base Clock : 1350 MHz
Gaming Mode (Default) - GPU Boost Clock : 1650 MHz , GPU Base Clock : 1350 MHz

OC Mode - GPU Boost Clock : 1590 MHz , GPU Base Clock : 1350 MHz
Gaming Mode (Default) - GPU Boost Clock : 1575 MHz , GPU Base Clock : 1350 MHz

Is this the A-grade and B-grade die thing at play?

Doh! I looked on Asus website, but I searched my MFR numbers and nothing.

Anyway, that certainly looks like the O is the binned chips.

Could it also be the A may overclock better and the O is almost maxed out ? Oh I don't know. :)

Asus typically have a stock clock, slight OC and max OC which are normally something like:
11G
A11G
O11G

Do they actually bin them, not really sure, but essentially just different BIOS with different clocks, I'd assume they do bin them.
