Same chipset, lower performance?

I recently had an asus z170-a board but returned due to sound issues. Now I have an asrock fatality gaming k6+ board.
Both have the same chipsets and cpu running at the same rate but the asrock scores 200 points less on 3dmark.

Is 200 within the margin of error? I only score 10,000 on my system so 200 seems a lot.

Any ideas? I've installed all updates/drivers.

Don't lose any sleep over 200 points, you could be faster in other benchmarks.

As long as its stable and still does the job why worry.

I'm not worrying, i just used 3d mark as I have it on steam and wanted to check temps under a gaming load. It was only when it loaded my past results it showed me i was 200 lower.

Just weird as its the same chipset?

Do several runs - they can vary quite a lot on each run sometimes, it also depends what you have or had running in the background. I would say you are within the bounds of margin of error.
