Well it's time to upgrade the graphics card in my SN95G5, i'm sticking with AGP to strain out a little bit more life until i upgrade the whole machine so was thinking of going for either...

Sapphire 2600XT
Sapphire Radeon HD 3650

However does my shuttle PSU have enough 'oomph' to run properly on 240w?

Other spec:

AMD 3500
2g RAM
160g HD

Don't kknow about the 2600 XT but I ran the 1950XT in my SN95G fine with the 240 psu

SX38P2 [450W]
2X 4850 512 in X fire
2X 500G WD *ks Sata HDD, [1T GP WD eSATA (external power)],1T Samsung SATA
8G(4X2G) GSkill 800 ram 1:1 @ 667
QX9650 Quad@ 3G @3.6G [11X333]
LG DVD LightScribe 16X
MS Keyboard + Logitec mouse

Is that for real

am considering similar specs but with Q6600 (B3).

I've got a 3650, 2 gig ram, and an X2 4200 in my SN25G5. Before that it had an x800xl, 1 gig and a A64 3800. Not had any problems with it yet.

PK!

i've always said it but i'm gonna say it again :)

shuttle PSU's are some of the most stable PSU's I've ever used. you can load them up like crazy and they all still work/power your systeem without fault. I'm not really up-to-date with shuttles anymore but I presume they all still use the same kjind of power, infact I remember the SN95G5 uses the same PSU I had in my SN85G4V3 (the 240watt version) and that powered everythin I chucked at it!

there were a few made my Enhance in the past that wernt up to scratch but the rest of them are great.
