Now if you aren't fussy about the quality of your £600 + monitor then this won't affect you.
I am now on my 4th monitor from multiple vendors.
1 x Dell S2716DG
1 × Acer XB271HU
2 x Asus PG279Q
They ALL have a foil card at the top left corner on the screen. After removing the protective bubble wrap and the foil card (why on earth you would stick card to a delicate screen I do not know), I then go round the screen gently with a microfibre cloth to remove the bubble wrap marks etc so it is pristine. I always use my phone torch to help see and buff the screen up nice.
Now on every screen above, there has been scuff marks where the card was stuck down. Easily visible under light. It will NOT come off.
Yeah I know you can't see it under normal use but why should I accept scuff marks for the huge prices I am paying? I really don't know what to do now. I bet if everyone with one of these monitors checks, they will have one or more too. If not, then lucky you.
