Stock, pricing, panel differences etc are turning me off this tft and i'm finding myself looking elsewhere as i want a solution soon and im not going to get it with the sammy.

The LG L226WTQ looked like a reasonable option but horror stories emerge from that option as well so i was thinking maybe going smaller 20" and going for a Dell.

The 2007WFP & 2007FP are appealing and in budget but the low contrast ratios and high response times are putting me off slightly.

Which direction do you think i should head with this? Look at a Dell option (which one as well) or keep on waiting for someone to sort out there stock, pricing and panel consistency with the Samsung?

Cheers.

Edit: Just seen the FP is 4:3, so that rules that out, but the WFP i've just seen for £215, sounds a bargain.

No its not mate, its £184 + VAT & £13 delivery, about £230 all in.

:D

Should i get this over the complicated and unreliable samsung?

i spotted this too looks a good monitor

i also mentioned to dell the prices overclockers where selling for to see if they price match ocuk, Dell claimed that they do not authorise any resellers in the UK and that all ocuk stock is refurbished!

lol, i quickly hung the phone up :D

Seriously, I think the horror stories are blown out of all proportion. I've yet to see a single european purchaser of this give any mention of the ghosting, and there's nothing on mine. I really think the US model is different to ours or the firmware or something as there is absolutely no hint of this ghosting on my WTQ, and the WT (Which everyone in the US recommends over the WTQ due to having no ghosting) is not sold over here. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that the model name is a misnomer and the WTQ over here is a whole different kettle of fish to the North American one.
