Samsumg 22" 226BW Problem (Black screen)

Don't get me wrong, i'm very happy with this monitor, but...

Occasionally the sceen just goes black, as if it turns off but the power button is still lit up blue... It's practically brand new, i've checked the cables and they are connected correctly.

On restart it works straight away and when it happens the PC is still on and i can hear clicks like on a web browser : s

Any suggestions?!

Only a guess but could it be the video card overheating? Take the side panel off the case and check your card to see if the fan is working, [If there is one]. :confused:

The fact that it works straight away after a reboot would make me think its more likely to be a problem with the PC and not the monitor. Can you try the monitor on someone else's PC?

Can't really add anything to this. But I have the same monitor and after its been on awhile mine goes black, still with the blue light on. But after a couple of seconds it always comes back on its own.

Might sound silly, but you dont have power saving standby set do you?

Does the backlight switch off as well?
