Samsung 173T Colour Problem !

My son has a Samsung 173T connected via the DVI socket to an Nvidia 7600GT graphics card.

The problem is that we cannot make any adjustment to the monitor colours and they are all locked to 50.

When you enter the Color Control menu "Not Available" is displayed at the bottom of the menu screen and this is the same for Color Temperature.

Surely this cannot be correct !

A lot of monitors don;t let you adjust colour settings when connected by DVI however they will if you connect by VGA.

You just have to use your graphics card control panel.

It was the same with my old 17" screen however my new NEC 20" screen lets me do it. Weird.
