I have minimal information to go off, and I think today is the last day I can take advantage of the promotional offers, including the free phone and potentially a free tablet for getting the phone so I may be forced into a decision in the next 2 hours.

I want to try out 8K 60hz and 4K 240hz

So worst case scenario is a return if I'm not happy with it. Best case scenario living the 8K windows desktop life. With some 4K 240hz madness at 65"

I've gone ahead and ordered the TV now (date changed from 4th of may delivery to 11th, but still let me select 4th at checkout) if the 4th May date falls through, I'll probably cancel and be back in for the FO32U2P if they become available in that window.

Will share my thoughts if I am lucky enough to receive it.

I saw @batsy like my post, I got it in today and have been trying it out all day, my personal opinion is OLED > QLED

but at 8K there is a substantial jump in display quality running everything at native, unfortunately no way to know if the limit is 8K 60hz or potentially 120hz in future with DSC stuff.

(I enjoyed the quality of the picture from more than 10ft away) otherwise I'm too close in my current desktop position just a bit further away from my hand stretched out fully.

Games run really well at 240hz though when they reach that number at 4K, just gotta pick your games you want to play on it, and games that fluctuate in performance lets say 90-160hz or whatever freesync premium pro is doing it's job, not noticing any stutters or anything like that, unless the game just has performance issues of it's own already, and it looks really good in these situations.

OLED just offers that extra bit of punch though. It does make me believe MicroLED will be absolutely insane in the future.

I guess if you're after the best non OLED TV's I'd recommend this/Bravia 9 or Hisense U9N/TCL QM8

It's not all bad, I'm just being very critical given the cost of the TV.

My S90C can compete with this TV and win in everything but 8K and higher refresh rate, which is saying a lot given the price difference.
