Just purchased a Samsung 226BW.

Im having a problem with using it with DVI. When I connected it with DVI there was a signal check box that told me to check the cables for analog. I then used the "source" button for it to change from analog to DVI and it then it has a blue and white box at top left that is changing between Analog and Digital, then when I assume it goes into digital mode it goes to standby (silver power button with flashing blue light).

Has anyone had a similar problem? is it the included DVI cable?

Currently Im using analog cable with dvi adaptor, would really like to get dvi mode working.

thanks

Sorry just to clarify I was using a DVI-DVI cable that came supplied but it would show "check cable signal: analog" in analog mode (obviously) but when I changed it via "source" button it would then change to "use dvi" but then it goes into "standby" with flickering power button.

I am currently using the analog -> dvi adaptor as this is the only way I can get it to show anything on the screen and be able to post.

I had the same problem. Turns out I hadn't pushed the DVI cable fully into the monitor. I'd try reseating the cable.

Goot :)
