Hi there

Irrespective of all the different panels that this LCD comes in, if you currently have a 19" CRT is this a good replacement even if you get the lowest panel? Or does the fact that you might get the other than an 'S' panel mean that it is not a good upgrade?

Well i just got one yesterday from a big high street name, and its not branded with any letters, some backlight bleed along the top and bottom of the screen, nothing too serious, but i can't seem to get the colours to look right, looks amazing in movies and games but strange for most other things, i will try get it sorted by fiddling more with settings but personally i just seen OCUK drop the price of the 24inch dell to slightly less than you can get it at auction so i am seriously tempted to dig deeper and get one of those, my mate has one and there really nice.

Iv had this monitor for about an hour or so and im very very impressed! no idea what the panel is but its perfect out the box.

If your a gamer or game at all you will defiantly notice a difference but for everything else you will love it, dont listen to people that say there as good as a crt when it comes to gaming cos they aint! its that simple, but you get used to it.
