Hey guys,

I got one of these monitors from overclockers and I can't get it into the widescreen display modes, the monitor thinks it's just a normal non-widescreen display. Overclockers tell me this is a common problem. I tried numerous drivers and updates/hacks only to end up with a widescreen resolution that pans with the mouse at 1680 x 1050.

Overclockers are out of stock, Samsung will only offer a refurbished replacement. Am I stuck with this dodgy monitor forever???

Please help me find a way out of this horrible mess without being sans monitor for too long... Thanks overclockers for a fast delivery etc but how can I get this fixed without being fobbed off with either a refurb or my money back? I just want a working new monitor like that I paid for. It's not Overclockers fault, it's Samsungs silly warranty. Plus I want this S version again if poss...

i'd suggest contacting the shop direct if you need to discuss returns etc, the forums aren't really for that.

however, have you made sure you're running at 60Hz refresh rate? have you tried using powerstrip to create a custom res and settings profile?
