Hi All,

I was going to post a review of my new monitor (a Samsung 226CW purchased from OCuk) and I was wondering what sort of things would be worthwhile to include?

I was going to go for

- How it arrived
- First impressions
- Setup / Software / Colour profiles
- Games usage
- DVD/Video Playback
- Apps
- Comparison with bog-standard 17"
- Pics

Is there anything than a rookie can do to make the review more useful ?(obviously Baddass' help would be very welcome)

Hi melbourne720 Couple of things which might be useful to readers:

- how does PQ compare between VGA and DVI interfaces?
- What did you find to be good settings for screen brightness, contrast, colours? (obv if you have access to colorimeter you can do testing, but guess it will prob have to be software based?)
- Maybe use some of the software suites which Samsung package with it, see if they are useful / useless?
- measure input lag if you can by hooking up in clone mode with a CRT?
- any preset modes, MagicBright, MagicColor settings etc and if they are useful?

Thanks Baddass, I'll put some of that in the review, certainly 1,2,3,5, but I don't have access to a crt any more.
