I'm considering getting this monitor, but i'm a tad bit worried that it'll suck for playing games because i'll have to play at the native resolution, with is like 1920x1200 or something equally insane.

I've heard about 1:1 pixel mapping, am i correct in the assumption that that will make games playable at lower res without looking washed out?

And.. does this panel support it? i'd hope so for the price i'm paying :)

Mainly getting it because i really want an 8 bit panel for photo editing, and there don't seem to be any good 22", and i want somehting bigger than 19/20.

There is a new version of this model due to be released called the 245T - it might be better to hang back and check that out.

Apparently the 245T is due to be released June/July but as yet there has been little info - can anyone else shed some light on this?

If the 245B is anything to go by, we might be in for a long wait!!! (release date keeps getting put back)
