I have just returned this monitor to the company I bought it from - not OUK.
Nice picture and screen, and great stand ............ but some moans and groans which shouldnt really be happening however minor they may appear

1) It didnt always pick up the signal (vga or DVID) when the computer was turned on or switching between users, even if the monitoirs was still 'on', so I got a blank screen (lovely Windows 'music' though) which was only rectified by switching the monitor off/on. Sometimes, even though the log in page appeared, it really struggled to p/up the W7 loading icons etc whereas my old Dell and new NEC pick them up from the start
2) For some reason on some webpages the screen dimmed considerably making it almost impossibe to read what was on the screen
3) To use MagicTune and Autorotation you need to download the latest software, however neither of them work unless you have a specific graphics card which you dont find out about until you go to download it from the USA site, find the software doesnt work and see that it only supports a limited range of ATI, NVidia etc cards.

Could do better with quality control if these are monitor build issues and better customer info too

Just as a counter-point I have one and love it. Really nice picture quality, works really well for gaming (no ghosting at all that I can see).

1) I never encountered this problem, I've used all 3 sources at various times.
2) This sounds like a software/setup issue to me (dynamic contrast maybe? I have that disabled because it doesn't play nicely with games).
3) I don't use these, though I might give it a go tonight. I've got an ATi 5850 though so I have a feeling it will be supported. I agree this should be clear before purchasing.

The stand is lovely, I have the sreen in a position that most others wouldn't support. As is having a USB hub on the back of it for mouse and controller. My only real complaint is the slow speed of source switching, but I knew that before buying and I don't switch sources often.

It is more expensive than the alternatives though. At the time I bought there seemed to be bit of a drought of 24inch screens whereas now the are some good ones for a lot less money.
