I was looking at perhaps purchasing one of these to use with my Surface Pro / PC / Xbox and have a few things I need to figure out:
1) From what I can tell a Surface Pro (5) can only output at 60hz...?
2) Would a Xbox One S/X support VRR via Freesync on this monitor over HDMI?
3) Using PIP / PBP, can you have say a PC connected at 100hz over DP and the Surface / Xbox over HDMI at 60hz (running in either of these modes?) i.e. does the difference in refresh rate affect this?
Looks like it defaults both sources to the lowest refresh rate, i.e. 60hz.
4) Bearing in mind that a) I don't need thunderbolt for a Surface / PC / Xbox, and b) the vast majority of thunderbolt devices only work at 60hz (MacBook / iMac / Mac Mini), is there any other specific reason to go for the thunderbolt J791 version instead? Nigh on £200 extra so personally I can't see the value here?
