Hey. I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to post).

I have just bought a new monitor. I also own a PC from overclockers with an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series. Unfortunately, I'm maxing out at 3840x1080 with no better resolution available. I tried downloading new software for my graphics card but was hit with an error - 'driver signature'. I'm not sure what that means.

Generally looking for some advice as I'm unsure if my graphics card is simply not good enough or if it is a driver issue.

Appreciate any help!

What are you connecting with, Hdmi or DP?

What refresh?

The R9 200 series from the MSI site had the following limits;
HDMI CONNECTORS
1 (version 1.4a)
Max Resolution: 3840x2160 @30 Hz
4096x2160 @24 Hz

DISPLAYPORT
1 (version 1.2)
Max Resolution: 4096x2160 @ 50 Hz

I would say it's going to be unable to run at the native resolution of a G9

ty for the response LOAM. yeah this is what i feared (and saw on some other sites), but wondered whether there may just be a software update that could fix. I tried with both HDMI and DP - neither worked.
