samsung 55 curved led tv ???

For me, I don't find the curve causes issue (reflection).....but I guess this may be down to placement - I have a 55JS9000. That said, had there been the option for a 'flat' version, I may well have gone for that - not wholly convinced by curved screens.....

Unless you're sitting close and directly central, at that size a curve serves no real purpose other than causing potential problems. With a pj screen or monitor it can work depending on viewing distance.

I have a curved set, can't say I particularly notice any major issues with reflections.

I wouldn't say mine feels more immersive than a flat set, but it looks pretty funky.

Like above, I am not that convinced the curve adds anything to my viewing experience. I remember reading a review saying pretty much this with a 55", although it stated the experience was better with 65".

As for relections, the only issue I have had was when we had a table/standing lamp behind the seating area, the curve reflected the lamp and actually stretches the relection side wards, hence it appears wider.

I got the 558000, same tv just flat. V-good, on firmware 1441 now. Bug with keeping same settings for each input tho. Amazon prime man in high castle has good hdr. Took a week learn how use it.

Demos here, see hdr and 10bit.

Do you get 6 months Netflix with that model as well? If so, do you have to make a new account or is it added on to existing one?
