samsung 913 osd locked - help!

I have managed to somehow lock the osd/panel buttons in my old-man's samsung 913. This means I cannot autoadjust the screen, nor will it adjust when switch resolutions thereofre cropping the pic.

How on earth do I unlock it? I will be very greatful for any info - instructions I have have yielded nothing...

if you have magic tune installed. remove it and reboot. and power off the screen at the mains for about 30 seconds.
