samsung 913n what settings should i use

hi i just recieved a new samsung 913n, i was wondering what are good settings to use to obtain a nice picture, should i install magic tune or natural colour programs or should i just install the drivers.

just looking for the best settings for quick set up without mucking about too much.

is 60hz the best refresh rate

it is loverly by the way

iv got one too, well happy with it!

just install the drivers and use auto tune

I got one....and never installed the drivers. Does it make any difference?????

probably wont make much, if any, difference if you have the drivers. Might as well though

Make sure you're running at 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz for optimum performance. You could install MagicTune to set up the colours and brightness/contrast etc, would be a good idea to calibrate the screen to get it looking how you like

does magic tune just do what the osd menu does or is it more advanced

are there any tools that can be used to help calibrate the monitor or is there some kind of procedure to follow?

it can help adjust your graphics card settings too which is handy. Maybe give this monitor calibration wizard a try too, as it can do a good job
