Samsung 930bf or 960bf?

Hi all, Im just about to take the plunge and get an LCD as my monitor is on its last legs. Now, I was all set to order a Samsung 930bf then I see you can also get the 960bf.

Looking at the specs of both of these, the only difference I can see is the aspect ratio and slightly different brightness. Does anyone know exactly what the differences are between these two models or is the 960 eventually superceeding the 930?

Im not worried about movie playback, this is 99% games use that I need it for :) .
 
they both have the same aspect ratio at 4:3, 1280 x 1024 resolution. They both use the same 4ms Samsung TN Film panel as well. The only thing which will vary between the two is the design, functionality and price, so just decide which one you like more. Gaming performance is arguably some of the best in the market from that panel so you should be fine with your choice :)
 
Just like to say I decided on the 960bf and its great. Was dubious after hearing about ghosting and all the other problems LCD's can have but have been using it for a few days now and extremely happy with it. No bad pixels either. Lets just hope it lasts :)
 
excellent to hear. Would be interested to see some pics if you have some, maybe add some in the "show us your TFT's" thread as no one has posted any of the 960BF yet :)
