turn 3d back to 2d and then alt tab out.
if you got to alt tab out all the time then you cant really be playing the game or watching the movie.

2d->3d via monitor doesnt crash, only TriDef. That said, as judmann points out above, you wont be alt-tabbing on purpose if you're opting for 3D.
Turning 3D->2D (on the monitor, or via TriDef OSD) before alt tabbing has no effect on the TriDef crashing issue for me.
ah ok then, I usually alt+tab in LoL while dead so thats like 20seconds every now and then or while waiting for loadings screens etc (15-60 secs)

I had literally tried everything I could, but still the same graphical problems were there. I tried 3 different PC's, I reformatted and reinstalled window7, I tried different DVI cables, beta GTX580 drivers, archive drivers the lot.
The wierdest thing happened today. I had spoken to Samsung and explained the problem, and they said they would send someone to pick my monitor up today. Last night I switched it off ready to pack it up for the collection and I thought I'd fire up TF2 (it happened in every game I tried as well) and get some footage through fraps of the problem so they wouldn't turn round and try and tell me there was nothing wrong with it. Lo and behold the problem wasn't there for the first time in 7 weeks! I then tried other games and video and it was totally cured.
For the last week I hadn't changed anything. No new drivers, hadn't touched the cable, all I was doing was surfing, and the only change was a couple of Windows 7 updates. I have absolutely no idea what had changed to make it suddenly work as it should.
Anyone have any ideas as to how it suddenly cured itself? Anywas I cancelled the courier and am looking forward to playing the new Deus Ex tonight on this monitor rather than my old one!
