Hi
After lots of deliberation, confusion, sleepless nights etc
I have taken the plunge & ordered a Samsung B2430H
£156.99 with free delivery(out of stock again at OCUK)
I really wanted & very nearly bought an IPS screen but in the end, I deceided that with the OLED screens due in the next couple of years, I couldn't justify spending lots when for the money, the B2430H is a good screen.
I was/am very interested by the new LG IPS screens but i'm pretty sure that they will cost more than the Samsung
Should arrive next week & I will post my thoughts when up and running.
Going from a 19" 1280 x 1024 display so should be a nice improvement.
Just biding my time on a GPU upgrade until the Radeon 6xxx series is released. May well push the Nvidia prices down a bit.
To be honest, i'm quite interested to see how my 260 GTX copes with the increased resolution
