Hi all,
Just installed a new rx580 in my rig and hooked up to above monitor via HDMI.
According to radeon settings, freesync is not supported on this device.
When I check the sales page on overclockers for this monitor, it is.
Do I need to connect via display port or something?
Cheers.

Update :
Tried with display port cable that works on my other freesync monitor- not supported.
Tried the hdmi cable that it shipped with - not supported
Posts on amazon website says the 32" is not freesync only the 27 and smaller.
Advertised on ocuk as freesync - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sams...d-widescreen-lcd-monitor-white-mo-22m-sa.html
( cant get html link to work)
Flawlessly smooth gameplay with AMD FreeSync
• AMD FreeSync: By dynamically syncing screen refresh rate with image frame rate, AMD FreeSync minimises stutter and ensures flawlessly smooth gameplay.
• Game Mode: Game mode instantly optimises screen colours and contrast for gaming to ensure you enjoy every scene at its best.

You guys are right unfortunately, and the box is recycled cardboard plain packaging with not a lot of writing on it.
I'll have to get in touch with samsung technical, If I had known it wasn't freesync, I would have passed on it, and the rx580 special deal that was bought on that basis.
Thanks all
