I'm looking to upgrade my 1080p Dell U2414H to a 1440 monitor.

I know there are no reviews of the CJG52 yet as it's due for release next week but it does look promising and is in my budget range. I was wondering what size is recommended for this resolution, 27" or 32"?

I'm not ready to upgrade to 4k yet as my MSI 980Ti gaming will have to last a bit longer due to the 2080Ti pricing!
Hopefully it will handle the 1440 OK, I have all games at max settings on 980Ti so i'm hoping not to have to dial details down too much.

What would you recommend, 27" or 32"?

I agree and you may want to consider the Dell S2716DG for around £450.

Ideally i'd like another IPS panel but think the VA is a better middle ground choice. Not keen on TN panels.

I'm going to take a punt on the 27" Samsung @£300. Worse case i can return it with Amazon.

Thanks for the info though, i research a bit more and you are right 27" is the sweet spot with 1440
