Hello

I just purchased this printer and as I am new to having a colour laser printer I have a few questions.

Every time I switch it on it is "warming up..." for about 30 seconds, does this process waste any ink?

Is there any way to check the toner levels in MAC OSX? I don't think I can even check them with the drivers.

no when the printer is warming up it wont waste any ink, it just needs to warm up some of the components so that the toner shall attach itself to the paper, to be honest the drivers should let you monitor in levels, id take a look at the support section online and see if there is any aditional software you can download to monitor things like that

Every laser printer has warm up period when you power it, and despite of possible noises it won't be wasting any toner.

Cool, thanks very much for helping I really appreciate it.

I think I can probably install drivers on my Bootcamp partition and monitor the supply levels that way.
