Samsung D600 - Screensaver help

Hi all,

Right, I used to have a Samsung D500. Somehow I managed to get it so that when it was in the slide down position the time and date would show up as a screensaver on the non-backlit screen.

I have just received my new D600 and for the life of me I can't find the option to get this to happen on the new phone.

I have gone through both the D500 and D600 option by option, setting by setting and the user manuals and I can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know how to get this option to show up as I really want it back but it's doing my nut trying and failing to find it.

Yup, already found that out from another forum (www.howardforums.com - great source for mobile phone info despite being US). The D600 doesn't have the function to keep that display on the screen permantly when the phone is closed as the D500 could. One of those things, guess it saves on battery time a tiny bit. Just a minor thing anyway and absolutely lovin the phone.

Haven't worn a wrist watch for about 12 years since having a mobile phone anyway
