Samsung E800 on O2 - Saving Voicemail to PC?

My mate has asked me this, but he has a couple of messages on his Voicemail, and he wants to put them onto his PC to play them back.

His phone is a Samsung E800 and he is on O2

Now, I have got hold of a data cable and the software, but it does not seem to let us access the voicemail itself.

We can see the voicemails as its showing us the time & date, but we cant seem to do anythign about it???

I think the voicemail is actually on the servers rather than the phone, and if we could get them onto the phone, we should be ok, but as it is, we are stuck...

Anyone offer anything on this?

A possible workaround is to play them through the earphone socket into the line in and record them as wav files maybe?

Yes all networks apart from 3 store them on the server, where as with 3 you can download them as a email.

The only way is to play them back through a hands free kit

Ok thanks for the replies...

We needed a near-instant solution, and we got hold of a HF Kit and I did a bit of cut'n'shut and simply recorded it into the Line in on the PC.

So, thanks for the replies
