Samsung E840 vs E900

Which phone do you think is the best out of these two? looking to replace my battered phone today.

I quite like the look of the 840, what do you think?

battery life on the e900 is crap
mines always going flat(from 2 bars on the battery level to flat is to short)
3 bars being full charge

Would like to stick with samsung i quite like their phones!
