Samsung EVO SSD Performance Firmware

Hi,

I've got a Samsung Evo SSD in my mbp, and the performance restoration firmware has just come out for it. The problem is... I don't know how to use it!
It says the file is a DOS version for mac.
Anybody have a clue and could give me a helping hand? I don't know what to do with the bloody thing!

Nah, I didn't. Maybe I should have elaborated.
Looking to make a bootable usb with the software on, but I'm unsure how to do it.

The instructions are vague, but they're correct at a high level.

Off the top of my head :
1) There's an HP utility for creating DOS bootable flash drives in Windows. You'll need that, some MS-DOS system files and a Windows installation. Google is your friend.
2) Find a FreeDOS image and write it to a pen drive using DD from the OS X terminal.
3) Then unzip the contents of the Samsung file to your flash drive.

It's far easier to burn the ISO to a CD, and run it that way. If you have an Samsung SSD, then the Mac had an optical drive when it left the factory.
