Samsung F1 1TB

I told myself I wasn't going to but the price and performance is unbeatable.

I could flog my current 250GB drives and almost break even.

was on the verge of ordering 2 x 750s...then saw this for a ton

seems an awesome deal...
will probably get a 2nd in a week as i like 2 copies of eveything
1 in pc 1 unplugged just incase the worst happens

will have to figure out how many drives i need and also sell some of my 250s
sounds odd but may even be able to break even selling 4 250s on the bay and then getting 1 of these instead should also cut heat in the pc and reduce power used

I ordered 2 from here this week for £112 each, I then got an e-mail from another shop a few days later stating a price of £99, I was well gutted.

Performance wise I haven't noticed a difference between them and my other Hdds

80Gig WD caviar 8MB
300Gig Maxtor DM11 16MB

The only major thing I have done with them so far is copy the contents of my old 120Gig drive to one of them. So say I was copying 100Gig to one of them. It took about and hour. Is this good or bad? Could it have been that my old drive was just badly fragmented?

Just did a quick test, Any good?

Tempted to buy one now however just seen the 750GB for under £64 so I reckon the price of the 1TB will fall even lower.
