Anyone brought a Samsung F2380 23" monitor's I am looking at replacing my current monitor a Samsung 2032mw 20" HDTV.

I want to use this monitor for PC, PS3 and 360 so my pc will be connected via DVI the ps3 through a DVI converter and the 360 through VGA. What would my best option be regarding getting the sound from the 360 and ps3?

I have read that this monitor is pretty good for gaming as its stated 5ms response is as close to a TN panel with 2ms apparently...

any more recommendation's around the £250 would be appreciated.
 
I bought the DMG panel of OcUK a few years ago had no trouble with it the problem is it doesnt support hdcp so no ps3 unless you get a HD Fury adapter so i would,nt get that .

To be honest that samsung looks a good monitor spec wise i can see the trouble of the sound had the same issue if the sammy has a jack out or optical i would just track some speakers down for it ,then you will be sorted ;)

Most of the good monitors are about the same and i think if it is for games you really wouldnt notice the difference unless you had 2 running side by side .

Where on earth did you read that? This monitor is not good for gaming, the input lag is around 50ms. I returned mine because it was awful for gaming and the picture quality of the panel was awful.

But the actual build and design of the monitor itself was fantastic! Stick a better panel in it and you would have a great monitor.
 
that is terrible i read the 2ms quote from a site which previewd the monitor they must have not tested it properly.

anyone suggest a decent monitor around 23"-24" for around £250 which will cover all the above?
