Is the Samsung Syncmaster F2380M (PVA screen) a good choice for a monitor. Budget=£275

that review is for the F2380 - an old monitor now. I was specifically asking about the F2380M which is the updated version. You would think Samsung may have improved it's all round performance aswell as adding an HDMI port?

Exactly why I posted you to that review. The only thing Samsung did was add an HDMI port. And they are both fairly 'old' considering the pace of things. I can't help thinking some kind of response time compensation technology would have helped matters - and I'm hoping that BenQ can pull it off with their upcoming VA monitors.

They improved response time and image quality on the F2380MX model which, unfortunately, doesn't seem to be available in Britain.
