Not overly informed, but I think you will still be better off with a 7200RPM drive? With that said these will not do badly.

These apparently are better than 7200rpm performance I read somewhere earlier. Not sure what to think.

The random access times will never be as good as a 7200rpm drive but the 667GB platters will really boost sustained transfer speeds.
