Samsung g7 on offer, worth it?

With the Samsung odyssey g7 27 inch being 23% off at the moment, bringing it down to £420, is it worth jumping on?

Go for it! Most definitely, mines superb .. no complaints. Had it over a year and paid 600 I think . I use it for Xbox and my mister fpga

I'm tempted to get it too but i'm not entirely sure about the 1000r curve.

Yeah, the tightest curve I have used is 1500r. That was great, but 1000r IS that bit tighter, I don't know if I would find it better or worse.

I’ve never used a curved monitor so I’m not entirely sure how I’ll find it tbh.

I never had a curved monitor before I had a doubt too, I can honestly say it’s not noticeable/ obvious in gaming only enhances the game. It’s easier on the eyes, the display is fabulous.

I've got the 32" one and love it to bits - the curve is immediately noticeable, though in my experience, not in a bad way and I certainly got used to it quickly.

My 27" arrived today, the curve is not as extreme as I thought it might be.
Loving it so far.

I have the 32 version and really like it and the curve I dont even notice it anymore so wouldnt worry , also I wall mounted mine found it sticks out too much with the stand

I have had my 32" g7 for about 6 months and had no issues, hdr not amazing but passable and non hdr brilliant. I was concerned about the curve initially but don't notice it now, and doesn't seem to effect any on screen programs displaying wrong\warped etc.
