I actually quite like this idea. I've never been a fan of camera phones. I never understood putting a poor camera on a phone, as they were always a rubbish compromise useful only for taking drunken photos of random stuff.

However I can really see the benefit of having Android apps on a decent pocket camera. A decent editing app and some sharing ones would be great.

Not so interested in 3G, you could just tether it to your phone, but WiFi is nice.

Only problem is it looks quite pricey (£400), but hopefully prices might come down if more manufacturers get on board.
 
Nikon announced one a few weeks back too.. Except I think it was running Froyo or Gingerbread :/

edit: Not that there's anything wrong with 2.2 or 2.3 for a camera, it's just it looks unusual unskinned on a camera

Providing it runs decent apps it shouldn't really matter. It does need a custom built camera app with all the functions of a normal camera though. The stock android one just wouldnt do.
