Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Bluetooth Tracker good for motorbikes?

Just looking at options for tracking devices to use with Android devices.
although I don't know well enough if this sort of device would work for a stolen motorbike compared to a £200+ options.

Useless.
It uses BLE and needs a nearby compatible device in order to be pinged. Imagine if someone steals your bike , hides it in the middle of nowhere - how is it ever going to get pinged? Good for finding your keys in your house but not much else.

Trackers have built in sim cards that allow you to locate it as well as it calling your phone if it detects movement. There's a reason they are £200+
