Hello all.

After my 'phone dilemma' thread, I've settled on the i300. Loving the 3GB hdd, all the features and the fact that it's a Windows-based phone. All I'm looking for now is a GPS receiver and compatible software - any exist? Any recommendations?

Cheers.

TomTom and Co-pilot are the two I am familiar with for windows based phones. Any Bluetooth GPS receiver should work.
I like the look of the i300 but theres a 8gb or something version out soon.

Aye, but 3GB is enough for me. I'm used to a 128mb MuVo!

would be interesting to find out if there is a gps system, i got a i300, shame the battery lasts about a day, other than that its great

Could you post/take some photos of it for me? It's out of stock atm, so I've got more chance to consider the phone. Possibly some holding the phone would be nice. :)

Cheers.

I went into the O2 shop to check this phone out yesterday. Much bigger than expected. Larger than the MPV600. It also comes with 2 batteries because that little hard drive seems to eat the battery life. Decided not to go for it in the end.
Nice looking phone though.

I had a look and a play with one today. It's size suprised me - smaller than I thought it would be actually. Nice scroller, nice menus etc.

However, I couldn't get past the small screen. I'm used to the screen on my S700i, and before that a GX20. Both have decent size screens. Didn't like the angled top/bottom either. I had a play with the XDA SP too - reasonable phone but poor camera. Think I'm right back to square one!
