Had this Samsung monitor for around 2 weeks now and i've started to notice visible ghosting. It's a 22" 2253LW (really annoyed that i listened to the build quality is good crap about this monitor). Just wondering If there is a way to eliminate ghosting on the monitor (i'm a noob sorry :P)? If not, does this really visible ghosting fall under any return policy for samsung or ocuk?

EDIT: Not sure if it makes a difference but it's on a DVI connection, it's apparently a 2ms monitor.. i assumed this solved ghosting problems, obv not.

2ms will be the fastest for grey to grey however some colours can be slower, I know cyan to orange is quite bad for ghosting on my monitor, also a Samsung 2ms.

Bump, anyone have any ideas? What are my options on returning the monitor? Just to make sure I'm on the right lines as everyone, When i move my pointer across the screen quite fast and there is a sort of ghost behind it.. That's ghosting right?

just out of curiosity whats bad with the build ? i have this monitor and cant fault it.

as for ghosting normally peopel see it when in games or maybe movies with fast moving images. and it is as you say a sort of ghost behind it. like its not crisp as it moves. cant say i have noticed anything how ever did do the mouse thing you mentioned and i guess i cans ee what you refering to. but i cant say i ever look at my pointer as it moves normally to notice it.

as for returning there is a 7 day distance seller rule thing still have to pay the postage i belive. after that dont think you could return it.
