Can anybody tell me the difference between or why the Samsung J5 costs more than the J4 please.

My old J5 is on its way out. The battery needs charging too much and in spite of the new S10 I still wait for the price of the J5 to come down. Sim free only, or preferably.

If you really wanted the J series I'd imagine the J6 would be the one to go for at this stage. It's more expensive than the J5 but has a better specification and a newer version of android. Alternatively if you don't want to spend on a new phone, according to GSM Arena the battery on your J5 is removable, so you could just swap it if you're happy with the phone otherwise.

Would a new battery last as long as the new batteries in new phones ? I bought a Samsung tablet 2 months ago and the battery is superb.

The phone is probably OK but I've had it over 3 years, I just don't believe in spending too much on phones and playing with it all day !!!

I take it also that these batteries over the internet are better than they used to be ? I did this once with my older nokia and the new one was useless after about 2 weeks.

I remember buying one for my Note 3 and it was better, made sure to buy it from the Rainforest site (directly from them, not a reseller) so I get a genuine Samsung one.

Also there's a few good budget phones nowadays for £150 and under if you don't have to stick with Samsung.

The current battery is a 2600maH so would it be worthwhile getting a better one my tablet is great, far better
